I have no recollection of this production other than Andrew Van Dusen directed Maggie Low in it for a festival at One Dream Theatre. I’d written the piece, Andrew wanted to do it and I loved what they did. I remember this piece coming to me while watching Patrick Breen playing Wile E. Coyote in a Naked Angels stage production. I was transfixed and howling with laughter. During a scene change I scribbled down some notes about a woman coming out of a coma and seeing things in her relationships she’d never noticed beforehand. I wrote it for Lili Taylor as a birthday present, but every time we planned to put it up one of us would have a scheduling problem. I was thrilled Andrew wanted to give it life. I’d love to see it filmed some time.
