This live weekly satire of a feel-good TV morning show was the brainchild of my dear friend Lizz Winstead, co-creator of The Daily Show. With a writer’s room of about 20 and a technical crew of about 8, I was one of many writer/performers and directed most of the episodes over the course of two years. An original script each week was an incredible task, but working with Lizz and and such great comedy writer/performers like Sean Crespo, Carol Hartsell, Baron Vaughan, Jo Miller, Benari Poulton, and Darbi Worley was like getting a master’s degree in what makes people laugh.
